Well i've been playing on thick blanks for about 3 years and i've found them
remarkably long-lasting - but i've never tried the 'evolution' My current
pack of tb's are really hard - to the extent that i wondered if they were
wrongly packaged. Has anyone else found this, or am I in receipt of a freak
pack?

Tony W: In answer to your comment (long, long ago - sorry i didn't reply)
about them being about half a strength harded than the equivalently numbered
vandorens, i think this is true of the 'evolution' but certainly isn't of
the TBs.

Myall's never seem to have even any thick blanks so I doubt they'd stretch
to the evolution - thus making me lazy about trying them out. Maybe we
should get together and swop a couple Debs?

ps Practicing the clarinet at 8 in the morning? disgraceful!! ;-)
