A lot of money vs. potential benefit. I tried one and found that one
of the three plates produced a desirable difference in tone/reed response,
but the ligature slipped too easily off of my mouthpiece. I wouldn't
want to be playing on one of these during a concert where a switch
from Bb to A was required.
