I have Tony Pay's recording on a double CD (Weber #1, #2 and Concertino on
one disc and Crusell on the other), and I like it. Don't know if it is
available in the States (can't see why not). They are recorded with the
Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and (not that you can really tell)
feature a period instrument.
If you can't get that one, I'm sure that Amazon (didn't there used to be an
Amazon link on the Sneezy homepage, Mark?) will happily list many CDs which
feature some/all of Weber's clarinet works.

For next year's state honor band auditions we're
supposed to play the von Weber Concerto and I am
looking for a good recording of it... anyone have
reccomendations on who to listen to & where I can get
it?
I am especially interested in a CD collection with
both his Concertos & his Concertino; if anyone has
seen such a collection and remembers where please let
me know.
One last thing, I have a friend who just switched from
trombone and is learning to play the clarinet. Right
now he is playing on Rico Royal 2 1/2's but has
decided that he doesn't like them (I can hardly blame
him) & is looking for an inexpensive but good brand,
any suggestions?
