I understand this. Personally, though, I'm too tall, and so probably are many
other "listers". Resting the bell on the knee cramps my chest.
Changing to consistent double-lipping became necessary for me because
of dental problems - but I just *had* to get the thumb position consistently
supportive without impairing the other fingers.
