It's nailed. If you can find a US publication of Syrinx prior to 1923 let me know - I have a copy of Syrinx transcribed for clarinet by Abe Galper ready to go, but I have not been able to find a US publisher of that piece prior to the 1923 date. Publications in other countries follow very different copyright rules - some more stringent than the US rules.
