I really do not understand why there is a difference in the price
between Festival and RC Prestige in the US. I think everywhere in
Europe they have the SAME price. For me it is obvious that they are
of the same quality (material, keywork). The only difference is the
bore.

One advantage that the Festival clarinets may have over the Prestige
instruments is price. Without going into specifics, I saved over $2200 buy
purchasing Festivals and not replacing the Prestige. In my opinion, much of
the difference in cost is marketing, and NOT the quality of the instruments.
