Regarding the Kooiman, Dan Paprocki (who I FINALLY met!) showed me one on
his Eb Clarinet. That is the only context for which I think I would use
these (just a personal note) - because the thumb rest really increases the
distance between the body of the clarinet and the hand - perfect for Eb,
but too much for Bb/A for me.
