Subj: [kl] What's a Selmer 25/II Bass Clarinet?
Date: Thu, 14 Jun 2001 09:48:17 -0400

While skimming some Henri Bok "album covers" I note that he plays a Selmer
25/II bass clarinet which, interestingly enough, seems to be the current low
C model on Selmer's European web site <www.selmer.fr>. The latter makes no
mention of the 37, which likewise is the only low C instrument on the Selmer
American web site.

Are the two identical, Selmer using different model numbers here and there?

Certainly someone on this list can explain what this all means. Not a world
shaking issue but my curiosity has been aroused.

Thanks...fred Sterns
