When my set of Buffet RC Prestige clarinets was stolen in January 2001, I
replaced them with a set of Buffet Festival clarinets. The overall quality
of the instruments is no less (IMHO) than the Prestige instruments, and the
mechanism with the left hand Ab/Eb lever is the sme. The bore is related to
the R-13 bore, but is different. The sound is more like that of the R-13,
but in my opinion, the overall tuning of the instrument is better.

One advantage that the Festival clarinets may have over the Prestige
instruments is price. Without going into specifics, I saved over $2200 buy
purchasing Festivals and not replacing the Prestige. In my opinion, much of
the difference in cost is marketing, and NOT the quality of the instruments.

look under Buffet (Boosey and Hawkes now owns Buffet).
