"Virus hoax warns users to delete AOL"
A man who runs a joke Web site got the last laugh when he e-mailed
users about a phony virus called AOL.EXE, which is actually the name
of the America Online application. Plenty of recipients didn't
realize he was pulling their legs and deleted AOL, losing their
Internet access.
