How high do you mean? I had one teacher who seemed not to have had any
difficulty at least through the entire clarion register. He told me the
trick he'd discovered was to flutter quite a bit farther back in the mouth,
not near the top teeth where most of us roll "r-r-r-r-r-r" in speech. Trying
to do it that way seems to get my flutter higher than a more forward contact
point, but I certainly can't say it's easy - not as easy as he made it
sound, at any rate.
