I got mine by post from Windcraft, the accessory side of Dawkes in
Maidenhead. If you go to the www.dawkes.co.uk internet shop you will find
both Kooiman models listed under Accessories, Clarinet, Thumbrest. The
details of the different models are at the Rokatec address in my last post.

A word of warning which is probably stating the obvious. If you have only
been playing since November I would recommend discussing your problems with
a good teacher in case you have a previously unnoticed posture or technique
problem.

It's too early to tell if the thumbrest will solve my problem. I have been
playing many years and have only recently started to have problems which may
or may not be being aggravated by the amount of playing that I now do. The
principle of the Kooiman thumbrest looks sound and I bought it after
discussion with the chiropractic who is treating me. Please feel free
email me privately in 6 -8 weeks for a progress report.

Andrew
