I take it this person is a guitar or string player. They LIKE sharp keys,
since they lie easier for them. But they make life difficult for us
Bb-instrument types. Bring your A clarinet along on the gigs! There's no
law that says you HAVE to use your Bb for folk/pop/jazz music.
