Intrigued, i've measured my 1010s.
The barrel end and joint end of the upper section are similar: Bflat is
.598, A is.602 inches.

Recently, as part of my top-secret September Project, a technician
measured my Howarth S2's bore for me:

upper joint: 0.597" at barrel
0.582" at bridge

lower joint: .756" at 1" above bell tenon
.811" at 1/2" above bell tenon
.860" at bell tenon

All of the above are as much as +/- 0.002" because the bore is not a
perfect circle. A year ago, a ring dropped off my instrument by simple
gravity, and therefore I attribute any discrepancies on wood changes
(weather, etc), not on Howarth's machining.

Cheers,
Bill
