Don't be embarrassed in the least! If his workers are not competent, why
allow them to work on your instrument? Or, more to the point, if you learn
from experience the "boss" does trustworthy work, then you're telling him so
by asking that he do the work each time. Tell him, if you like, that you
trust his work and would be grateful if he would do your repairs himself.
