Hello all,

This is my first posting on this list, however I have been watching and
soaking up all the information that has been put out for me to read. I am
currently a student at William Paterson Univ. (Northern New Jersey) and am
studying with an amazing teacher, Andy Lamy with the New Jersey Symphony.
Anyway, enough with that. Currently I am playing on a Pyne Pk and I must say
that throwing it on the horn right away provides it to be a little under
pitch but as time goes on and I become fully warmed up, i am usually close to
440 (give or take a few cents). I will be switching soon to a gregory smith
mouthpiece (the pyne is just a little too resistant for my taste and my
teachers). In general though, from what i've heard from other clarinetist on
pynes, they seem to be in tune, at least i haven't heard any complaints from
them about the mouthpiece. I hope this has helped at least marginally, and I
would just like to send out a hearty hello to everyone on the list. Thanks
everyone!

Bryan
