Dear Ciprian,
I just sent a letter to Mark Charette, host of the Klarinet List. I
told him to send you a letter from the List and see if that would work.
I'm sure you can get on the list very easily.
Ciprian, I will never be angry with you. You are a wonderful,
free-spirited clarinetist. I love the clarinet playing of your friend,
Calmas Vasile, and I know that I will love your clarinet playing.
Ciprian, there are a lot of "crooked" businessmen out there who try
to lure poor people from foreign countries to America with the promise
of jobs. I just wanted to know the name of the company who hired you and
the name of the park and employer where you will work in the US, because
I wanted to check them out. I also wanted to know about your VISA status
and work permit, because I wanted to be sure that you would be able to
work legally once you get here.
Coming to the U.S. is a big step, and if you are really planning to
come right away, we need to check out the people who will be hiring you
to see if they are "legit". There is a lot of "slavery" going on now in
the world. Particularly from bogus businessmen who want to hire poor
people to work in sweat-shops and horrible conditions. Please believe
me that I am still on your side.
I think I may have given you the wrong address for the Klarinet
