Date: Sat, 2 Jun 2001 00:30:24 -0400

I have a friend here in the Chicago area by the name of Don Draganski.

I know Don as a fine bassoonist, and I have played in several ensembles with him.

He is also a composer.

Only very recently have I had a chance to hear, or in several cases to play some of his pieces....and my impression is WOW!!!!!!!!

He has written a clarinet Sonatina, several pieces for Woodwind Quintet, one of which is a Klezmer-style, and a trio for Flute, Clarinet and Piano based on Latin American styles.

His pieces are availble directly from him, or from Performer's Music in Chicago.

Thpught you all should know about this guy. His music is fun, approachable, and challenging.
