Someone I know was a victim of this hoax today. He did delete the file in
question and then was notified shortly afterward that the "virus" was a hoax.
He was able to get the file back by re-installing Windows. He didn't lose
any of his data. I don't know if this would work for all circumstances of
deleting this particular file, but it did work for this person.
