Moreover, the two beautiful women in my 3rd section, between whom I sit
(let's sit real close so we can look on together) made me a better offer
than any of the firsts (or seconds)! If I want to play a solo, I work up a
modern edition and present it to our conductor. He says, "And I suppose
you want to play the solo, Ollie?" to which I reply, "Indeed, I thought
you'd never ask." And the rest, as they say, is history! 8-)
