Who "bites" man?

Hi, Tony. "Bites" could have several meanings even to an
American. It could mean "sting" as in when you apply disinfectant to a
wound and then say "Ouch! That bites!" It could also mean "retaliate
gently but firmly", as when an animal thiks that a playful slap was too
severe and "bites back".

Cheers,
Bill
