Has this ever been fixed in AOL 6.0 to allow just plaintext, and, if so, what does a user have to do to make all the messages plaintext?

As far as I know, AOL 6.0 is still doing this and it does create a problem. As a work-around, I just use www.AOL.com for reading and especially SENDING to sneezy.com.
