Your post makes me wonder what people think I think.

My apologies, Tony. Apparently I did misunderstand..... but
perhaps I misunderstood only the style of prose... the 'body english',
so to speak.

I understood your message as a comment that if a person doesn't
perform before an audience, and therefore doesn't have a special
awareness, the person doesn't really understand what music is.
