Rhea - youre right about the tight fit of a bonade invert with a V-B44 mpc. I have the same problem. It can work if you separate the screws all the way, put it on then kinda force the screws back in. this will rebend the ligature a bit and allow it to be useful. ive not been able to find a Rovener like i use on my Bb for my Eb. I did just try out Clark W. Fobes Eb mouthpieces and LOVE it. The other Eb player is probably going to be getting some too. I was stunned and how much it cleared up the throat tones in the clarion range and how responsive it was in the upper altisimo without having to "bite" the reed to get the notes in pitch. I also was able to control volume alot better with out sacrificing intonation.
