If what you wrote above is an exact quote, then what I was trying to type
was......"Curricular, as we use it today........," not
extracurricular. Notice that the second sentence which is to be an example
of the first is not really - that's because I accidentally wrote "extra"
rather than just curricular. Sorry.

My definition of extracurricular is what you wrote earlier as one that you
have viewed for 20 years as an experienced parent.
