I always love that statement - "the (state, federal government, fill in your
poison) doesn't give us enough money." It really means that your taxes
aren't being distributed as they or you would like them to be. PTA funding
of credit classes may not be legal in you district - the PTA dues could
easily be construed as a "hidden local tax" and in some places that's
against the law.

Check where your money goes.
