Bundies are indestructable. I used one once as a club during a high
school marching band practice.
One of the boys had been pestering me (adolescent admiration annoying
stuff) and after he pulled the reed & ligature off my clarinet and then
pulled my hair, I yelled and grabbed the bell of the Bundy and whapped
his arm to get him to let go.
Fortunately I didn't injure him. Or the clarinet.
The rest of the story, for those interested...
We got along fine after that incident, kind of being friends. He was
wild and a mess, but he would talk to me about real things rather than
blustering and bullying.
