Walter, you misunderstood me. When I did the work, both players played
E-flat clarinet. I would never have done anything else. However, I
played 2nd E-flat whereas the other player executed the 1st part. We
played exactly what the composer requested, on the composer requested
instruments, but simply changed the names of the players.
