I recently bought a new Greenline R-13 Bb from IMS. The horn plays and
sounds beautiful. I have only one concern: the low A and B (regular,
non-chromatic fingering) are quite sharp at all dynamic levels. I have tried
adding tape to the low A tone hole but it does not cure the sharpness
completely. Fortunately, the 12ths are very close on this horn, so my
attempts to lower these two notes has helped the clarion notes as well.
Anyway, I have been contemplating getting my new horn Brannenized. Does
anybody know if Mr. Brannen includes this kind of work in this process? I,
unfortunately have never played a Brannenized clarinet and do not know the
advantages of his work.

Thanks,
Josh Gardner
