I would agree with the previous recommendations of Vandorens as far as
mouthpieces (although a school on a tight budget might not want to pay for
mouthpieces - I'm pretty sure that you'll get a low-quality mouthpiece with
each horn you buy)... as far as the actual horn goes I would also agree
with option between Buffet and Yamaha. The only tidbit I'd offer is this: I
know Yamahas to be very durable - a necessitiy, I'd imagine, for teaching at
the elementary school level.
