MW Enterprises Inc. acquires the Olivieri Reed Co. and moves factory to the=20
Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.

SUGAR GROVE, North Carolina. -- May 1, 2001 -- The Olivieri Reed Co. has bee=
n=20
involved in the manufacture of reeds for the clarinet, saxophone, oboe, and=20
bassoon since its founding in Paris France in 1928 by Victor Olivieri. Due=20
to a unique design, Olivieri Reeds may be imitated, but never duplicated. =20
The reeds and the Olivieri name are patented and registered with the US=20
patent office in Washington DC. In 1944 Olivieri moved to the romantic isle=
=20
of Mallorca, Spain in the Ballearic Isles. In 1954 Charles Olivieri, Victor=
=20
Olivieri=E2=80=99s son, took over the company and continued the tradition of=
making a=20
hand crafted reed. Charles Olivieri will continue to be actively involved i=

the production of the reeds in North Carolina.
