When trying out a box if reeds and using each just a few minutes each
day, what are some recommendations for laying them out, storing them,
between practice sessions if they are going to be used the next day?

You won't find agreement on this question. The Klarinet archives
are full of debate about it. Larry Guy's book "Selection, Adjustment,
and Care of Single Reeds" (50 pages with lots of drawings) gives one
viewpont in simple, unpretentious language. He recommends working with
only about 5 reeds at a time, not a full box of 10; and his 10-day plan
doesn't ask you to spend hours and hours each day. His method includes
more than just wetting and drying.

Cheers,
Bill
