Jennifer, I can't help you with a therapist, but when I had tendonitis in the
inside of my elbow I couln't play longer than 3 minutes without pain. I tried
2 different physiotherapists who couldn't help me at all (over a period of 3
months). One of them finally suggested acupuncture and it worked wonderfully!
There was a western trained acupuncturist (who's also a physiotherapist) in the
same clinic. The day after my first session I could play 10 minutes w/out pain
and after the 2nd session, half an hour! It just got better from there. But
it absolutely must be followed up with strenthtening exercises so it doesn't
recur. I lifted a computer after I thought I was cured and the tendonitis
returned and I neeeded more acupuncture and strenthening exercises. I hope
this helps.
Best wishes,
Audrey
