Subj: [kl] Death of David Krakauer's mother

In the NY Times of 5/2, I read that David lost his mother. She was an
excellent violinist and her talent was, without doubt, partly
responsible for David's interest in music and, of course, clarinet. He
is still a young man but when one loses one's mother or father, you
cease being young.
