I think I'm gaguing that from my Vandoren experience; which a 4.5 is rather
stiff (at least on my mouthpiece). Are you asking if Vandorens go up to a
10? I doubt it. The strongest I've seen was a 5, and it was so stiff, I
almost passed out trying it. Besides, guy, I was being facetious! :^D

well, Mitchell Luries seem to be easier to play on. For instance, a reed
chart once said that a 4 mitchell lurie was equal to between and 3.5 or
something Vandoren. Are Vandorens especially hard reeds, or are Mitchell
Luries just really soft? I heard they go up to 10 or something. Is this
true?
