That's fantastic. But why would you need to be able to circular breath on
clarinet? I can understand if you're to play the Digeridoo, but the
clarinet? Is this of any practical use? (I innocently ask this question -
maybe there is repetoire that calls for it that I haven't been exposed to).
Sorry I can't help you extend your circular breating range. As I understand
it, with circular breathing, you use air in your oral cavity to continue the
sound (by using the cheek muscles?) whilst you take a breath of fresh air.
Is this so? If so, it may be that the support your cheeks can give is not
enough to vibrate the reed other than in the range you are able to circular
breath. Do you have to use a soft reed? I'm geniunely interested. I had
about 3 Digeridoo lessons once upon a time (its very relaxing to play the
"Dige", by the way), but I never got the hang of the circular
breathing.---Gavin

Hi. I am learning how to circular breath and i can do it just fine from A to

D. The other notes that are lower and higher don't really hold their sound
while i am trying to breath in through my nose. Does anyone have any tips on

how to hold the sound through the breathing?
