I purchased the new Buffet model bass clarinet and am very pleased.

I play tested many models, old and new.
I find current improvements in Buffets bass great.
There seemed to be local consensus of opinion on this.
Our Montreal Symphony bass clarinettist had just purchased one. Our Toronto
Symphony bass clarinettist had recently sold one of his good Selmers and
acquired the new Buffet.
I find the tone throughout the registers focused, clear, centred. All the
things I was looking for. The intonation is good. The upper registers are the
best of any bass I have personally tried.

International Music Suppliers had 12 in stock at the time, and was willing
to ship me three so I could pick the best one. The owner is a clarinet player,
and had hand picked this bass clarinet stock herself. So it was already
a good selection. They were a pleasure to do business with.

Sincerley
One freelancers opinion.
