Subj: [kl] An evening musicale, anyone?
Date: Sat, 28 Apr 2001 10:41:42 -0400

My wife and I will be in London June 25-July 2, in Paris from July 2 - July
9 and motoring in England toward Yorkshire July 9 - July 30.

As I finish the sequencing of Serenade No. 10, K.361 it occurs to me that I
need a venue to play the world premier Karaoke performance before releasing
the files to my Web page. Anyone interested? I'll have my clarinet with
me, of course, but I don't want to lug my laptop and speakers, so we'll
have to use your equipment. I'll bring along the seven movements as MIDI
files and Master Tracks Pro v. 6.0 on a CD-ROM for loading, if needed. You
couldn't ask for a nicer bunch of folks to accompany us. They play exactly
as I tell them, they're available on call day or night, they never complain
and the price is right, even though their technique is a little
crystallized! Let me know. Don't miss out on this world-class opportunity!

Oh yeah, it is scored for 2ob, 2cl, 2 basset horns, 2 Eb horns, 2 Bb corno
bassos, 2 bassoons and one contrabassoon. I could transpose some of the
parts as needed if other live players want to get in on the act, except
perhaps for a kazooist or bag pipeist.

8-)

Oliver
