The following comments are one of the best descriptions of conductor
temperments (from a similar discussion on another list, several years
ago.)

Then there are others whose nervous systems, at a
certain point, cannot take error due to
the heavy concentration on what they are doing.
They rant and rave, but do not necessarily
attack other people personally.

Then there are the
arrogant ones, ambition without or with
very little talent. >>
