Yes, it's also one of the more challenging pieces I've had to play. We
recorded it my sophomore year of college, my 1st year as principal of the
wind symphony. Needless to say, I was practicing like a fiend that whole
semester.

Hindemith's Symphony for Band is (IMHO) an awesome work, to play as well as
to
hear. Certainly nothing he wrote is an "easy listen", but his music is
worth
the effort.
