Here's one bass clarinet enthusiast's opinion: the same collections
that challenged you on the Bb soprano should serve well for the bass.
In addition to those you mention, David Hite has some good stuff for
clarinet that worls well on bass.

Of course, you'll want to spend some time below low E...whether it be
Eb only or down to C if your horn is "long"...but you can work those
extensions into almost anything for Bb soprano...

...and, I paricularly like...and I think you will too...the Bach
cello concertos in both transposed treble and the orginal bass clef
[for the ultimate challenge] as well as Murray Drabkin's compilation
of orchestral works for the bass clarinet.

...there's a couple of years' work for starters...I'll have some
additional suggestions in 2004! :-)

Great instrument, the bass clarinet...too bad the manufacturers
cvontinue to advertise it as a "harmony clarinet."
