I have wanted a C clarinet for some years now....nevr felt able to spend
the money. Recently I came across two old clarinets a friend gave me some
years ago, before I even knew what was what. I never did anything with
them because the fingerings are different. I always thot they were an A
and an Eb. Took them out the other day and turns out one is a C. It is a
Buffet serial no. 1847. Could anyone please give info on this horn? I
have determined fingerings for basic chromatic scale - mostly like oboe and
a little like sax - so I am told. Very curious about type and age.
