One of my favorite clarinet CDs includes the Schumann:

Two Brahms Soirees
David Shifrin with Chamber Music Northwest
DELOS DE 3706

This is a 'double" disc set (not expensive). It includes Brahms Sonata
No. 1 & 2, Clarinet Quintet, String Quintet No. 2, and the Shumann
Fantasiestucke.

Hindemith doesn't turn me on, so I don't have a recommendation.
