Thank you. I had no idea.

You may remember my frustration with some other word (I've
forgotten what it was) because it means opposite things depending not
only on the era but also on who used it. Textual language draws some
of its power from ambiguity and room for extension, just as music does.
When you attempt to combine both of them, words and music..... you
need a double serving of babelfish.
