This morning, Maine PBS played a wind quintet composed by a person whose
name I got as Antoine de Mirne, but who is probably the Antoine Dauvergne
who appears in the Harvard CDM. (And who I suspect spelled his name
d'Auvergne, since he was born in Moulins [1713] which is in the province of
Auvergne.) A search of the Sneezy composer database turns up only an
instrumental group "d'Auvergne", but no person. Is anyone familiar with
this wind quintet and its composer?
