Subj: [kl] Questions for former Marcellus students
Date: Mon, 16 Apr 2001 17:48:02 -0400

Hi list,

I finally got around to hearing the Marcellus Mozart
622 recording and was amazed. I haven't had the
luxury of being exposed to Marcellus or any of his
former pupils in regards to playing style and
teachings. Could some of you elaborate on what he
taught, quips, ideas, his own playing, what you
learned, etc. Any info would be helpful. I'm curious
because nearly everyone I meet reveres his playing and
teaching. Judging from his gorgeous Mozart, he must
have been a remarkable musician. Thanks in advance

Joe
