I do not agree. I find the side bflat an INFERIOR sounding fingering and use
it only for trills. Proper voicing of the throad register makes the side
bflat unnecessary. Listen to Robert Marcellus, he never used the throat bflat.

The technical hangups caused by overuse of the side bflat are not worth the
trouble. My advice is to learn to voice the 'real' fingering.
