We have to distinguish between what we do ourselves, which doesn't
destroy information for other people, and what we may do to the sources
we give them to use, which does.

This is why it is 'barbarian' for editors like Alamiro Giampieri to
mangle Mozart, and other composers.

*Playing* music is a different matter.
