One of the newer innovations by publishers is the effort to provide a
CD-ROM with each score and a set of parts. The CD-ROM contains all of the
parts scanned in and in printable formats. The printing is very readable -
and the fonts are great. You can still see small jags in straight lines
and graphics, but they do not keep the person from being able to read the
music. The CD-ROM allows for the conductor to print off as many parts as
needed for the particular ensemble.
