Beyond the elusively functional URL's, it might be important to notice
how OrionDJ12 phrased his/her question, i.e, "...*the* technique for
double tonguing..." As has become evident to most from past and pres-
ent discussions, there are multiple double tonguing methods, using
various syllables and manipulations of the tongue and throat. There's
side-to-side movement of the tongue, up & down using the word "tuttle",
variations of using the tongue against the roof of the mouth and/or
throat via a follow-up syllable like "ku" or "kih" or "ga", and even
Clark's hybrid single & double tongue technique. Doubtless, there are
others beyond the ones I just listed. Anybody who seeks to learn double-
tonguing should be aware of these options and explore them to a reason-
able degree in order to find one that works. Knowing of only one method,
a player might become discouraged and assume that they will never be able
to double-tongue. Given how wide-ranging the techniques are with respect
to the manner in which one can successfully achieve the effect, it seems
likely to me that at least one of them will yield useful results to any
given player who is at an appropriate level of development and diligently
practices the method.
